Music Video Review
Davey Suicide - "No Angel"
Written by: Abbey
The guys from "Unholywood Killafornia" are back and at it again! Davey Suicide just released their music video for their track "No Angel" off their album "Made From Fire" and its absolutely bone chilling. This horror themed video is appropriate for the heavy and soul breaking tone of the accompanying song, which is intense and intriguing.
When devil and angel collide there's really no telling what can happen, or what the afterlife may look like but Davey Suicide doesn't seem to mind. The idea of a beautiful angel of death stealing your soul and sealing your fate is welcoming, even to those who are pure and inviting. This is exactly what is portrayed in the music video. The beautiful Gothic angel of death smiles her sickeningly sweet smile and steals your soul with just her gaze. It's the idea of knowing something isn't quite good for you, but wanting it anyway and getting burned in the crossfire. "It's a small price to pay, come and take the best of me."
Davey Suicide comments on the song saying, "I can't tell you how many times I've lived through these lyrics and fought this battle inside my head." Love is a hard thing to fight and fall for, but it's a battle worth fighting. Overall the video receives a 8/10 with brilliant imagery and stunning videography. Check out the video below and see for yourselves, just make sure you don't lose your soul along the way.
