"Naivety" by A Day To Remember
Written by: Lexie
A Day To Remember has been on a ROLL lately, and they have yet to disappoint! Today, ADTR released their track "Naivety", and it is only adding to the excitement that fans are building for the upcoming album "Bad Vibrations" (due to be released September 2nd)!
"Naivety" is a song with a clear, powerful message -- that as we age, we will begin to miss the naivety we once had. Lyrics such as "All of the things we believed that we could do/ Don't wanna live by fear of failure," express that prior to learning the realities of life, our younger selves have so much more ambition and more dreams to fulfill. With age, we slowly become jaded, discouraged, and less motivated. ADTR shows how naivety doesn't always have to be an awful thing, especially since it was once the cause of our higher hopes.
Accompanying this message, is and that seems to hint at the kind of playfulness our younger (naive) selves once had. "Naivety" easily gets a 9 out of 10, and I cannot wait to see what ADTR has in store for the rest of "Bad Vibrations." Check out the song on A Day To Remember's YouTube, and let us know what you think! If you enjoy the track, be sure to preorder "Bad Vibrations", so that you don't miss out!
