Desolate Divine - The Color Morale

ALBUM REVIEW

"Desolate Devine" by The Color Morale
Written by: Lexie

The year 2016 has been a year full of anticipated album-releases, but The Color Morale's "Desolate Divine" has been quite the crowd pleaser!

The album seems to have successfully met the expectations of their fans with songs that blend heavy instrumentals and vocals with melodic rock. An overall discontented theme is prevalent, with songs such as "Lonesome Soul," "Home Bittersweet Home," and "Misery Loves Company." Despite the disheartening content of the songs, there is energy and vivacity in every piece. These contradictory components make "Desolate Divine" an album fit for a whole spectrum of moods -- whether you're having a good or bad day, you'll be able to appreciate and enjoy these songs! The lyrics encompass the darker feelings we experience, while the music will surely pick you up!

Overall, I would rate this album an 8 out of 10, because of the quality of each song. There could have been more distinct individuality for the tracks, but the standard of which they were done is undeniable! What do YOU think? Let us know! "Desolate Divine" is available for purchase NOW, so hurry and experience the album for yourself!
