ALBUM REVIEW

"Bad Vibrations" by A Day To Remember
Written by: Miguel

It's the moment we've all been waiting for and it's definitely a day to be remembered because A Day To Remember has just released their 6th studio album titled "Bad Vibrations".

If you've heard the few songs that ADTR released before the release of the album, you'll know that they are going back to their metalcore roots with some of the songs. “Bad Vibrations”, “Paranoia”, “Exposed, “Reassemble” are thee heavy songs of the album. There are jaw dropping breakdowns, screams, lots of guitar chugging and quick pulsating drums - things that will get the crowd moving at concerts! “Bullfight”, “Justified” and “Turn off the Radio” has a few screams in it but they are nowhere as heavy as the aforementioned songs both lyrically and instrumentally. “Forgive and Forget” is the ballad of the album and also the last track to conclude this marvelous record. All these songs are perfect in their own way and the way they meshed the different genres into one album is flawless.

Each song also has their unique and deep lyrical message. From talking about stress and the effects it has on you in the song “Bad Vibrations" to being addicted to someone you love despite the pain the relationship causes in “Forgive and Forget”. Many people can relate to these songs and find inspiration through them to help deal with their struggles.

A Day To Remember is very diverse and has proven their diversity time and time again. They can create songs both heavy and soft and they perfect them no matter the difference in genre. This is what makes them one of the top bands out there. "Bad Vibrations" is one of A Day To Remember's best album without a doubt and it gets a solid 10 out of 10. If you haven't already, you NEED to pick up this album and give it a listen!
