A Day To Remember is right back at it again after just releasing a music video for their newest song “Bad Vibrations!” This song reflects on A Day To Remember’s older days with its heavy screaming bringing us even more excitement for their upcoming album. ADTR is surely giving their fans what they want and they are also driven by the passion they have for creating what they love.

In contrast to the excitement the release induced, the video was not entirely interesting. It showcased the band performing the song surrounded by a variety of guitar amp heads and cabs. The video was indeed very flashy so those who have photosensitive epilepsy should not watch it. There were also a few lyrics flashing onto the screen throughout the song. Despite the video being a bit bland, the song makes up for it.

As the song starts, we are introduced by feedback from the guitars then comes in Jeremy McKinnon’s brutal screams. Shortly after, we get a full blown metalcore song as all the instruments kick in! The lyrics focuses on the bad vibes or “vibrations” you get from a negative person along with the “pain” and the “pressure” that consumes you. This ties into the concept of their previously released single, “Paranoia.”

The music video for “Bad Vibrations” gets an 8.5 out of 10. The song is phenomenal but the video felt lackluster. The album “Bad Vibrations” is set to release on August 19th so be sure to pre-order it!
