Love And a .38 - "Oh My God"
Written by: Lexie

Love And A .38 came out with a music video for their song "Oh My God."
To begin, this song is the epitome of masculinity. The sound is rough and the instrumentals encompass so many qualities of classic rock. The vocals and instrumentals have a shared rhythm that just make the song so catchy and addicting! Like any great, bad ass song, this song just sounds like a giant "fuck you." The lyrics are smug and arrogant as they express success and mock doubters. The video is just as manly as the song itself, as it depicts the band going on an extensive endeavor searching for an unknown treasure; this adventure is complete with extensive traveling, harsh climates, and a treasure map! How much more manly can you get?

As the video continues, one can infer that the "treasure" is symbolic for whatever it is a person would consider to be valuable -- success, in particular. The video matches the edgy mood of the song so perfectly, and the overall piece is great. If you ever need a song to blow off some steam to, this may be just what you need! As a whole, I would rate this video an 8 out of 10. Go and check it out NOW! If you like what you hear, be sure to purchase Love and a .38's new album,
