With the release date of Misadventures quickly approaching us, Pierce the Veil keeps the hype up by delivering a new song called, “Circles.”
Could this be the best song that’s been released off Misadventures so far? “Circles” is filled with amazing lead guitar work throughout the song, alongside the rhythm backing up Vic Fuentes’ unique voice. The melody is catchy and it’s worth hitting repeat... all day!
We all know PTV is known for their meaningful lyrics and they definitely lived up to their defined reputation, with this song. The overall theme is about love and being with the one you love through thick or thin. “Save yourself, don’t ever look back” indicates that he’s willing to risk his own life to help protect and save his loved one. “And I said, ‘Hey, what's on your mind?’ I think about my life without you and I start to cry. And I said, ‘Hey, it's alright, we'll make it I love you and I'll never leave your side.” Your unconditional love you have for a person is far greater than anything you'll feel and knowing that will be loved forever is heartwarming. “Both started running, there’s no place to go.” You trust one another to help and keep each other safe even if you have nowhere to go but that’s okay since what matters most is that you’re together. Pierce The Veil never disappoints with their lyrics- always painting the picture.
“Circles” gets a perfect 10 out of 10 without a doubt. We can see that Pierce The Veil's hard work is definitely paying off but now we just need to “Hold On Till May” for the release of Misadventures. How excited are you for the new album?
