The Haxans have quickly risen into the scene through a collaboration between Ash Costello (New Years Day) and Matt Montgomery (Rob Zombie). Today, the duo premiered their brand new goth pop single "Party Monster." The song provides fans with a new side of these two artists by developing a fresh new sound compared to what these two normally do with their respective other bands. If you're looking for something similar to the heavy sound of Rob Zombie or New Years Day, The Haxans are not it, but if you enjoy hearing artists take a new spin on their sound, The Haxans will suit your fancy. For the fans who enjoy the theatrical "creepy" style of Rob Zombie or New Years Day, The Haxans stay true to that theme.
"Party Monster" is reminiscent of kooky Halloween music and it's perfect for a costume dance party. Its fun and upbeat vibe makes the listener want to jump off their feet and dance. There is a nice contrast in the vocals between Ash and Matt that provides a really unique and interesting sound unlike anything before. Ash's vocals are more auto tuned than you'd be use to with her vocals for New Years Day, but it works with the style. Her vocals are much smoother and less raspy. The tune starts off with an 80's pop sound and an upbeat pop/funk guitar is carried throughout the entire song. This song is pure fun. It's not too heavy hearted and it gives fans something bubbly and lively to sink their teeth into while sticking to the goth culture that we all know and love so much. Check it out!👻
